Our Addiction Treatment Admissions Process
When you contact AAR Healthcare, please make sure that you have the following information at hand so that our intake team can admit you (or a loved one) as efficiently as possible:

Social security number
Health insurance information, including provider and policy number

Any extenuating circumstances that seem relevant for us to know

Requirements for Addiction Treatment Admissions
Our commitment is to provide individuals that contact us for help navigating their substance use disorder challenges and co-occurring mental health conditions with the tools they need to achieve long-term recovery. However, there are certain circumstances and conditions for which our facility would not be the ideal place to seek treatment. In such cases, we will go out of our way to assist such individuals and their families to find the right place to meet their needs.
For AAR’s Ambulatory Withdrawal Management (outpatient detox) services, the following conditions would require care outside the scope of AAR Healthcare:
- History of seizures or delirium tremens during the withdrawal process
- Cardiac disease
- Advanced liver or kidney disease
- Respiratory disease (COPD, apnea)
- Significant polysubstance abuse of several controlled/ scheduled medications and/or illicit substances
For AAR’s outpatient MAT services, the only requirement is:
- The commitment and ability to be present for scheduled appointments
For AAR’s IOP and OP options, the only requirement is:
- The ability and willingness to function in group settings that involve giving and receiving feedback
