The Key Elements of AAR Addiction Treatment
AAR’s purpose is to help those seeking treatment thrive, rather than merely survive. As such, we believe it is our job to empower our clients to make decisions for themselves that will lead to a long life of renewed purpose, contentment, and holistic wellness.
AAR delivers evidence-based addiction treatment protocols supported by statistically significant scientific research, with outcomes demonstrating the success of the treatment modalities we use. In short, our team strives every day to provide the best care for our clients’ unique needs.
AAR provides customized, client-centered care that respects each individual’s strengths, needs, abilities, preferences, and other individualized factors.
AAR believes care coordination with your other healthcare providers is a key element of a scientific approach to treatment. It is our responsibility to deliver to our clients a comprehensive treatment strategy that is optimized around the frequency, type, and duration of treatment we provide, whether that’s our outpatient program, medically assisted detox, or telehealth services.
Our physician services start with medical assessments by our experienced team. Once they determine the stage of addiction, Ambulatory Withdrawal Management (AKA Outpatient Detoxification) may be recommended to medically wean the client off the substance in a safe, comfortable way. Our medical detox program utilizes buprenorphine (including Subutex, Suboxone, Sublocade), naltrexone (or Vivitrol), and/or other medications to control cravings and manage withdrawal symptoms.
We use evidence-based counseling techniques delivered by professional addiction treatment specialists to help address and heal the issues that often underlie the addiction. This counseling program includes individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and an extensive alumni support network.
Recovery Support Services
Our team helps clients coordinate care with their other healthcare providers while also navigating potential challenges with housing, employment, legal services, and many other areas. Another important part of our care programs is helping our clients discover wellness practices that support their long-term recovery through improved nutrition, healthy sleep patterns, and mindfulness techniques.
